multicultural sex
Who here prefers partners of a different ethnicity?
I do- cant rightly say why, but for some reason they just seem more attractive. And no, I'm not some wierd sex fantasy racist pig who thinks that say, asian girls (genetically? culturally?) know all sorts of ancient asian pleasure tactics or some bullshit like that. I just find girls of differnent types more physically attractive. Not that I dont find white girls attractive of course- there are beautiful women of every type- but asian, black, indian, latina- you name it, now THATS what turns my crank. (and of course the added bonus is that I'm doing my part to eliminate race, and thus eliminate racism =)) what about all the rest of you? preferences? |

What?!
>By bringing up race, you are furthering racism
I fail to see your point If I bring up drugs, am I furthering drug abuse? If I bring up abortion, am I furthering the cause of pro-lifers? (or pro-choicers?) hell no. I'm acknowladging that there are differences between people- I dont advocate that any of these people are SUPERIOR to other people because of these differences- as you say- we're all human. That I happen to find some of these people more attractive than others has nothing to do with racism- it has everything to do with personal taste in physical features- how is being attracted to someone who is black any more discriminatory than having a preference for partners with black hair ? yeah, racism is out there. its a huge problem. but discussing race is not racism. in fact, the only way that racism will ever be conquered is when people can discuss differences rationally- a discussion that will essentially entail people's ethinc background. |

race does exists...the human race????oh but I guess that u'll pick this apart to make it seem like I'm saying the total opposite of what I intend too...
I prefer a beautiful person either inside or on the outside or both...but at the moment I'm with probably the best person of the best race that I've ever met....yes she's of the human race... |

And, if you had paid attention, you would have figured out what Iwas talking about by reading the last lines. "Too bad one's ethnic background cannot be defined. Nor the differences between various hypothetical backgrounds either." Too bad that "race," as a concept, relies heavily on being able to group people into classes. Classes which have no basis in reality. Quote:

Allright ][nkster...
I commend your obvious commitment to eliminating the mindset that people are of different races, however, I think the original post is refering strictly to the preference of different ethnicities , purely in the asthetic sense, not an ideological sense. True, we are all of one race, however, we are quite obviously diverse in all physical attributes, including skin colour. I think it is completely possible to discuss romantic or sexual attraction to a specific ethnic group over another without furthering racism. The original post used the generally accepted term of "race" to refer to people of different ethnic background, he didn't use it to be racist, obviously. I think that is important to note. But, I agree, perhaps if the term 'race' was eliminated in discussing differences between people it would lead to a less segregated attitude.
Absolutely no props at all to the racism massive, it is neither phat, nor potent ;) |
