your methods of extracting THC.

how many of you extract THC from your weed and what method do you use?

for the longest time all i would do is just scrape the busted bud with a plastic card then wiped it off into this little vial.

it worked pretty good i guess.. plus it left most of the THC in the buds..

i was just on another site and decided to make this cheap but effective kif seperator :P

it consists of a regular mason jar (any size would do i guess) then you take a pair of nylons, cut a piece big enough to cover the jar lid, then screw on the top(without the lid) and voila!

i had less than an 1/8th of weed, and extracted about 10 times the amount i would get with my previous method.

:| u shoulda seen the pile! my vial of thc is 1/4 full now :P and its like PURE WHITE compared to what i used to get!! b4 there were so many tiny bits of leaf, now theres NONE =)

ive done it tones of times and tried 3 different methods.

#1. butane- is the quickest and easiest and the one i usually use.
#2. white gas- its kinda sketchy but works real well take more time but works great if you using huge amounts of shake.
#3. iso cooking- only done this on 2 its dangerous and kinda complicated need a few pots a siv and a nail and a hammer :)

stick with the butane method.

this is a good economical way ta do it.. but seriously, y not just buy a grinder that has a keefer in it?

but u get a lot of powder..

You can get keefers @ New Amsterdam Cafe, A Kind Revolution (AKR) and possibly other local head shops.

But... if you PM I think I can find you one for a really sic price... I think they go for $60. However you can buy keefrs that are like 2 feet by 2 feet for lots of pot or the 5 1/2 inch x 4 inch one that I have which only keefs about a dime spot at a time.
