Anybody have any experience with large doses of guaifenesin??

Side effects?

Interactions?

Other unpleasantries?

It's what they put in certain DXM containing cough syrups to make you sick. I thought you knew this?

I do; they're the ones with an "E" maked on the front of the box/bottle.

But, I'm talking about ingesting amounts in the 500mg - 3g range. Obviously, not while taking DXM as well; that info might not be completely reliable . . .

So far I haven't noticed any side effects from taking 2 x 300 mg over 6 hrs or so.

taking half a bottle or more of robo with guaifenesin will make most people really sick with fever, throwing up, weird chills, that "omg im going to die" feeling, etc. why would anyone want to take guifenesin anyway? i cant think of one reason why it would be a good idea unless you actually wanted to go to hell and back, just for fun.

i unfortunately swallowed a bottle containing guaifenesin once. deffinately not a pleasant experiance until about 3 hours later.
