Keeping Mary Jane young?

So here is my dilemna: On the 15th of June I will be leaving for Europe for one month, and obviously I won't be taking any bud with me. I'll be leaving behind a relatively untouched O of some very excellent stuff, and I have these horrible visions of coming back from Europe to a bag full of shit that's all dry and crumbly :( . My question to you is: what is the best method of keeping one's bud fresh? I've been told vacuum sealing it is a good way, unfortunately I don't really know of a way to do this without buying some kind of device, which I'd rather not do if it can be avoided.

Thoughts?

smoke it all before you leave, it's only an oz.
otherwise if you dont want to buy a vaccuum sealer just suck the air out of the bag as much as possible, seal it (assuming its a ziplock), and throw it in your freezer.

Mason jars would work much better than a ziploc. And keep in a cool, dark place.

put a small piece of bread in the container, it'll keep it moist. it'll do to the same if it's already dry. it really works, give it a try.

yah freezers work good to keep bud for long times, but i have to agree with the smoke it before you leave idea!! there is nothing better than smoking an one Oz joint!
