cleaning bongs/pipes?

hey

over the past couple months, ive noticed my pipes/bongs get dirty very quickly.
the bowls get full of resin and with the smoking device being extremely dirty, it significantly changes the taste of each hoot of weed.

any way to clean out my bong or pipes thats simple and affordable?

yea, go to superstore and buy a little bottle of "sudsy ammonia"

use the sudsy + warm-hot water and do a soak/shake/rinse type of deal. if you can get some of the sudsy-water into the bong/pipe, cover the holes and shake it like a baby. pretty much just repeat this process to get it clean. and run it under some hot water too. just keep doing these steps and it'll be clean.

if you have a little chunk of resin stuck somewhere try to use a paper clip to nudge it along. for the first soak, if your shit is really thick, i recommend some very hot water and a decent amount of sudsy.
btw: sudsy ammonia stinks, so do it outside. or you'll get light headed, smack your noggin and blame me.

isoprophanol smells alot better and it will strip the resin right the fuck off..and leave no taste..go for the 99%..the 70% is weak..

I would agree, I perfer to avoid iso at all costs. Spend the extra 5$ and get a safer chem cleaning material.

lol... iso isn't going to hurt you at all.

Even if by some miracle of nature it didnt all evaporate within minutes of you leaving it to dry, it'd be converted to CO2, Oxygen and Water within a few microseconds of lighting it.

You can't get really get a safer cleaning agent, which is why they use it to clean your skin before they inject you with anything, or take blood - it leaves absolutely NO residue.

it would only be unsafe if you were doing it in a small unventilated environment, surrounded by open flames.

Yo... where can you get isoprophanol?? i know theres some stores... but could you throw an example store thats common? and not the 70% shit.. that shits week, talkin bout the 99.5%
