It seems like you are comparing moderate E use with heavy alcohol abuse again, which as I've already said, isn't fair. You are also going on the assumption that the E people are doing is pure MDMA, which isn't the case probably 95% of the time. Almost every street presstab I did in the Lower Mainland during my affair with the drug was cut with AT LEAST a little bit of meth. In many cases a lot of meth. Discarding for now the fact that it is impossible to find presstabs that are 100% pure MDMA given that MDMA doesn't bind by itself, it is pretty rare to encounter pills here containing just MDMA and some kind of harmless binding agent. It's all adulterated, man. Sorry. |

Sugar is a drug too.
Candy, pop, and simple carbs in general spike your blood sugar and give you a rush. People get addicted, and a lot of people don't realize that they are addicted. The worst part about that drug is that it makes you fat :P Oh, and as for the legality/acceptance discussion: who is the more childish, the person who considers occasional drinking 'clean' and occasional e use 'unclean' because of the law, or the person who votes to make the government tell people what they can or can't do to their bodies in the first place? There's no such thing as a victimless crime. |

Given that most E is cut with meth, yes, I am going to go out on a limb and call occasional meth use more harmful than occasional alcohol use, and it has nothing to do with legality. |

Its wierd how people set wierd little standards on what drugs they will do and what drugs they won't! Just like some people consider certain substances as drugs and others, which are just as harmful if not worse because they are legal and readily avalible, as not drugs. I do it too... who doesn't!! I've never tried a cig. in my life but drugs.... I'm up for what ever you got in your back pocket. Anything you abuse is harmful, so the key is always moderation (which I know can get hard when your on a role!)

I used to smoke massive ammounts of pot and not drink at all. Now I am back with the getting shittered at least once every weekend and smoking minimal ammounts of pot, like maybe 2-3 times a week. I have experimented like everybody else (don't even tell me you haven'y tried SOMETHING) and now espcially because I am getting pretty heavy into the D&B scene I am thinking of trying E. I just feel a bit lame, i think i might be too old for that shit already. In any case, as far as drugs go, and what somone defines as a "drug", it is irrelevant. Moderation is key. I drink yes, but I only get wasted once, maybe twice a week.
Fuck it. If you aren't fucking up your life just for a high, or a low for that matter, then just have fun and watch your usage. |

The only thing that I consume that's close to drugs right now is "caffeine". I don't drink or smoke either.
I "officially" quit using drugs regularly (at parties) in Grade 11 highschool. Since then I have smoked weed here and there and have popped a pill a couple times but those instances were few and far apart. This isn't to say that I wouldn't consider doing something in moderation in the future, or that I can guarantee that I won't ever do drugs again but I know for a fact that I'm much happier without. I find the effect of most drugs (including alcohol) to be depressing, and I can do without those feelings. |

I can rephrase that for you oh anal-one: my current use of caffeine is nowhere close to an addiction or an unhealthy dosage of it, and when I refer to "drugs" I mean those drugs that are usually termed as "bad" in our society. |
