Anyone want to take a trip

me and a couple friends are looking to try some lsd, basically just wondering how many hits per person we should do for the very first time... we'll be indoors in a safe enviroment probabaly gonna watch zeppelin's the song remains the same dvd and throw on some hendrix/doors/pink floyd;) so how much should we do, best method to take it and basically how long will it last, i have a few sources but im kind of paranoid cause i don't trust em, if anyone can't give me some input on any of this drop me a PM, thanks!

For my first time I took two hits of what turned out to be very potent blotter, and it was absolutely great. I recommend taking more than one hit for sure, as I don't feel I would've been satisfied with a lesser experience for my first dance with the drug. To each his own, however, and I should mention that I had a decent background in psychedelics at the time already from past mushroom use. If this is your first psychedelic, definitely only take one hit at first.

As far as ingestion, assuming you've got blotter acid, I keep the paper under my tongue for 10-15 minutes and then swallow it. You'd probably trip just as hard from swallowing the paper outright, but this is how I was taught to do it and it has worked, so I stick with it.

Expect it to last at least 6-8 hours, possibly more depending on potency (hello 12-13 hour fry fests!). You should start to come up within an hour after dosing, but it can take longer, up to 2-3 hours before you feel the effects (I believe this is influenced greatly by set and setting), so GIVE YOURSELF AMPLE TIME BEFORE DOSING AGAIN. I cannot stress this enough. If you aren't feeling anything after 2.5 hours or so, you're probably safe to munch down another hit, but the last thing you want is too much acid sneaking up on you all at once. You can re-dose, but you can't un-dose.

Expect to have difficulty sleeping for several hours afterward. This isn't always the case, but account for it anyway. You'll probably feel somewhat off for the next day or so as well, so if possible have a clear schedule for the day after, especially if you plan on dosing at night, as you won't be sleeping until daytime if you got your money's worth. :)

for your first time I would recommend just taking one hit each.
Get some high quality marijuana to add to the experience if it feels to tame at times (which it probably wont if the dose is good).
one hit usually will set you flying for about 7-8 hours.

Now the only reason Iam recommending one hit, is because the potencies of acid blotters are always different.

the first time I took 2 hits of acid I wasnt expecting what came to me. It was super good dose. And i got straight fucked to fuckers ville.
I was experiencing all sorts of strange phenomena.
Sensory crossovers ( i could hear colours, feel sound, taste tactile stimuli etc.)

and a good 2 hours of that trip was spent holding my piss. See the drill was we had to go piss outside
but all the trees outside were melting into descending skeletons and other scary business like wolves and strange animals. lol

thanks for all the info guys... i read that alot of ppl get flashbacks evev years later and it still fucks with you, is this true? also how is the comedown/day after from lsd compared to lets say a cap of E?

lsd comedowns are very lightweight. Nothing compared to how shitty stimulant comedowns are.

Anyways, you won't get flashbacks. You can probably disregard everything anyone has ever told you about acid, in fact. It doesn't stay in your system or cause your brain to bleed onto your spinal cord or any such nonsense. Give the erowid link a good thorough read, including the Experiences section.

ya i read alot of the experiences on erowid and it seems like something you just have to try for yourself to really know, thinking about just doing on hit initially i really don't want to be up for a super long time.

you would swallow it? i was always under the impression that that would give a person gut rock. you know, hard core stomach cramps.

Fuck..this thread totally gave me a weird feeling in my stomach..

Normally I wouldnt give any tips on drug intake..because I dont do drugs anymore. HOWEVER...acid is definately an exception..

Two dubs will get you highhhhhh...and you will probably stay that high for atleast 4 hours.

Whenever I did acid..I just stared at my hands at the "happy dancing skeletons" and had a jolly good time. Remember that acid is the ugly drug..dont look in the mirror. Seriously.

I need to do acid one more time..just so I can remember back in the day. Acid + skytrain = best time ever.
