well you must be new to the world of dj'ing since your terminology is a little off...but i understand what your getting at....currently there are two models of turntables accepted to be the industry standard
the technics 1200 MKII and the Technics 1200 M3D MKII's were discontinued this year...so pretty much everyone will have M3Ds at this point. If you do find a pair of MKII's they will be on average about 50 to 100 dollars less than M3Ds (even though dealer cost for these is and always has been the same) If your just getting into dj'ing i wouldnt recommend buying all the high end gear first...its a big investment and if you dont even really know the equipment yet, why want it in the first place? Since your just starting out, get a beginner dj package made by stanton, or whoever and start practicing, build up your records, then when your sure you want to purchase a good quality system, do your research and find out what you really need. bottom line...heres what your looking at though for this gear. 1400 to 1600 + taxes for the turntables. 1800 + taxes for the DJM-600 Masterplan will beat any competitor advertised price on technics turntables.....at least they did when i was in charge of sales...so they should now too. |

actually i've been spinning for about 4 years and i've got about 800 records
so thanks for the suggestions i just don't pay much notice to model numbers, i'm more concerened with vinyl i'd have to look at my decks and mixer to tell you what model they were. anyways thanks for the prices oh and how much for a pair of ortofon concord nightclub's or stanton 890 SA's go for?
