a free bump:
this console can be EASILY MODDED. install a frontend for divx playback, nes/snes/genesis/etc emulation and most importantly... hdd loading of games.
can be softmodded (using an exploit, no hardware modding needed) very easily, under 5 mins with the right software.
this package is a steal. i'd buy it but i have 360.

the only problem with soft modding, i used the 007 mod and loaded xbmc, crashed my hdd, bad sectors.. wouldnt play anything.
So all that work in finding the proper softmod (which is stupidly hard, cause some games that had the exploit got re-released with the upgrade that takes away the exploit) was a waste of time.
I now have an xecuter mod chip, xbmc and a 200 gig hd. Love it to pieces.
Games load stupidly fast since you can throw them directly on the HDD.
