FS: 1991 Volkswagen GTI VR6

This car was originally 16v in its early days but has had a complete and proper VR6 swap done by RPI. It has been in BC since the day it came off the train (or ship... )The donor car for the swap was a 98 Jetta GLX. The chassis has 220,000km, the motor approx 130,000km.

The Good:
-Shrick cams
-GIAC chip
-H&R coilovers
-Supersprint exhaust
-Wilwood big brake kit
-RPI short hhifter
-Suspension Techniques F+R anti-sway bars
-15” OEM BBS Jetta GLX Wheels with Toyo T1-S rubbers.
-CD player custom mounted in lower console w/ Alpine Type S speakers all around
-Shaved door pins and keyholes w/hidden fuel pump kill switch, alarm, immobilizer, keyless entry
-G60 rear disc brakes
-Earls brake lines
-Polished Eibach upper strut bar
-OEM Recaros
-MOMO steering wheel

The Bad:
-roof and passenger side quarter panel paint is fading
-2 rust spots
-tacometer does not work
-car has had 2 claims under $3000, front corner, rear hatch
-steering wheel is pretty worn

This car drives straight, sticks to the road, and hauls ass. Car was dyno’d by a previous owner at 220HP, 210TQ at the wheels. The interior of this car is in excellent shape, (gray w/red 16v striping, badges etc) I have a carfax for the car and will provide it to anyone seriously interested. The aircare is good on it as well. Timing chain does not need to be changed as the guides are still in good shape, and I just replaced the coil pack. Oil changed regularely with synthetic (just did it 10km ago)

The car is currently not insured so no test pilots. I will put a temporary permit on it one day and can set up a time to take it for a drive. With a little bit of exterior work (fix the mentioned problems) this car will be the gem it used to be.

Im working over 60hrs a week and simply dont have the time for it. The car must be sold by the end of the month as I am relocating for my job and cant take both of my cars. Priced for a quick sale so make an offer.
