Searching for a 2 bedroom for Oct 1st... Looking around Commercial and or Westend .... just went walking about westend... not a lot of vancancies... keeping an eye on craigslist ... would be helpful if anyone knows of anything coming up or comes across anything... much appreciated. :)

u need to go for a walk down haro, bby, pacific, nelson...and all the streets in the WE. take a camerca to photograph address and phone numbers, and call. RIGHT AWAY. make an apt to view.

i did that last weekend.. there wasnt much out there... im gonna go again this weekend.... i think its good o do both cause i know that places dont have to pay to advertise on those websites so they just do that instead of paying to put it in the paper.. and half the time they dont put those little signs out saying there is availabilty....

On my walk yesterday I found two two bedrooms... (ones on Barclay and jervis I believe).

Trust the signs more the the ads. Decent apartments want people from the neighborhood rather then international students or people moving out for their first time...

Craigslist can find rad deals, but they're usually gone within a few hours of posting.
