Digital Studio setup!!
So, i've decided to upgrade my whole system. Out with the old, in with the new. This system is more than adequate for writing, recording & mixing music in Logic, Cubase, Reason, whatever... using multiple VST/Dx plugins and/or sequencing outboard MIDI gear. I'm also unloading my eMU sampler, recognised as THE sampler by producers in all genres of electronic music.
PC includes: - P3 800 MHz processor - 512 Mb RAM - Windows 2000 Pro installed - 17" monitor (on it's last legs, so no charge) - SCSI adapter - Ethernet adapter & dailup modem - M-Audio Delta 44 pro soundcard (as new, $500 value) - Guillemot ISIS soundcard (only works as MIDI interface, no audio driver for Win2000) - all the software, cables, etc you will need to get started asking $1200 o.b.o. sampler: eMU E6400 Ultra rack-mount edition includes 8 audio out expansion brand new condition The sampler can connect to the computer (via SCSI) and files can be sent back & forth istantaneously. VERY handy. I have the appropriate cable to attach them, which i will include with the sampler free of charge... I also have a SCSI zip drive, which SHOULD work (no guarantees as i haven't tried it out) which i will throw in for free as well. new: $3500 asking: $2600 o.b.o. email me if interested: [email protected] |

i'm factoring in $500 for the card, because it's brand new. *not to mention the second sound card, w/ MIDI interface. that was $600 new, and i'm only factoring in about $100 for that, because there's no win2000 audio driver available. plus i put 'obo' there for a reason, so if you're not interested FUCK THE FUCK OFF :PartEkid: Last edited by Wood; Feb 25, 03 at 12:44 PM. |

A few questions...
1) What type of hard drive? How many gig's capacity... 2) What motherboard, make and model.. 3) What size tower, how many cooling fans, how many watts is the power supply? Last edited by SomeGuy; Feb 25, 03 at 02:23 PM. |

^the sampler is a synth that records and plays back bits of sound, instead of using oscillators to generate the sound. so you can load in whatever sounds you want, drums, voices, whatever, and play them back through various fliters, envelopes, etc
yes, there's software that can do this but nothing that i've heard can emulate the depth of the eMU filters. they're bad ass. |
