looking for work in surrey/langley?
the company i work for is looking to hire a couple people on my end, and they asked me if i know anyone... i don't really know too many of you, but oh well we can pretend.
full-time, casual warehouse/pharmacy environment. starting wages at $10.50/hour. little to no chance of overtime, but they are pretty flexible about hours. the building you'd be working in is a pharmacy, but no pharmaceutical knowledge is required. you must be bonded and CANNOT have a criminal record. you can however bring drugs to work as long as you share. and yes, we do carry viagra and cipro. job description: casual labour (ie. packing and taping boxes shut), sitting on a computer and printing shipping labels (we're an online pharmacy, and send drugs to americans). drinking coffee, laughing at dumbass employess, bitching at pharmacists, maybe filling over-the-counter orders. wasting paper, stinking up the washroom, and quoting mafia movies. it's a pretty fast-paced working environment, but nobody seems to get in trouble when they work like fucken snails *grrr*. a little background on the company: it's an online firm that's currently taking advantage of the booming online pharmacy market (selling prescription/non-prescription drugs to US customers [our website is: http://www.canadapharmacy.com]. i think there's about 100 employees at the moment (when i started there was ...just me), we hire about 1.5 people weekly, and i've only seen 1 person ever get fired... we're situated about 5 minutes from willowbrook mall in langley. and ummm... yea we're hiring. PM me if you're interested or have any further questions. |

just a little update... there's a few more positions opening immediately...
shipper customer service rep. pharmacy tech (need license) data entry/admin pharmacist pricing/purchasing accountant oh and "boxmaker", but i don't think anyone would want that job. although it's almost a guaranteed "you're hired!", the pay will probably be around $8, and you'll be alone in a warehouse all day making boxes. it's kinda fun for a few days, but eventually you'll wanna kill yourself. and there's almost no chance for advancement (unless you consider making BIGGER boxes an advancement). |

i have no idea if they're looking for part-timers or not, but it never hurts to apply anyways... |

the shipping job is just sitting on a computer and using canada post software to print out stickers. then stick them on the box and put them in a cage. most of the boxes weigh under a gram, lol...
it also includes occasional packaging and closing of those boxes... |
