Looking for a burner!

I'm looking for a burner that will burn faste than my HP 8100, max speed is 4x.

Nothing more than $50 please and I run win2k.

because there isn't a standard dvd file format. I don't want to buy a dvd burner and find out that the file format is useless in 6 months. Microsoft has picked up Dvd+R, but DVD+R burners are still expensive.

you can prolly pick up a brand new burner at future shop for $50-60... i got mine back around christmas time for $100 with a $40 mail in rebate...

the fastest i found was 48x cds. but the guy said in a few weeks the 52s should be out.

so i got it anyways. thats a cd every 1 1/2 mins. hahaha.

they send a thing wiht deals every month and u get shit cheaper if u mention it was in the newsletter
