MDR-V700s Headphones
hallo peeps. Me is a stupid fukin idiot and i broke my 700S... shit i dropped it while i was carryin' my Vinyl Case and then i accidently kicked it off some height.

Its just the little plastic piece where the ear piece connects to the resto of the headphones... its cracked so it doesnt stay pressed up against your ear. I have no idea if its under warantee, it should be BUT as per usual i managed to loose the reciept

Benjamin man, shit. I just got home and got me new pair cuz i didn't think anyone would sell theirs. akh. only if i saw this a few hours earlier. I might need another one tho. Cuz i have my new gear in Seattle. i'll hit you back tom again. Thx so much tho.

First of all, what i buy for myself is none of your business, so shut the fuck up. second, i need the high .W. of the headphones. again, you don't know, so shut the fuck up. The looks, these headsets are not the best looking headphones, i wouldn't pay 260 for the looks -- i'd pay ~150 and get Sennheiser dj series. again, shut the fuck up. By makin this post i had no intentions of hatred, i was lookin for headphones. that was my purpose. What was yours? *plain dumb* youre sad. PS. Just cuz i have a pic of Alig, doesn't mean i idolize him. can't you figure that much? and EVEN if i did idolize him, what the fuck is it to you? so again and for the last time, shut the fuck up. i'm not taking sides.
but here is a fact. Sony V700's (yes the silver ones) have a design flaw where the left (could be right, i dont remember) bracket that connects the ear piece to the head band takes on too much stress and eventually cracks. this problem is recognized by sony and breakage to that part is usually caused by what they call "regular wear and tear". So it is NOT covered under warranty even if it breaks in the first two weeks. The only way to repair them is to replace the piece but that involves purchasing the whole headband and assembly, so you are basically buying a whole new pair of headphones for about 100 to 150 without the ear pieces. I'm pretty sure Able electronics has the part in stock. On the plus side, the v700's are some of the loudest headphones you can get and have very good reproduction across all bands. I have a few pairs of headphones I use, right now i'm using my old sony v500's, they are cheap, durable and have been with me forever and still going strong. I also have a pair of Sony v600's which i use when i'm in loud monitoring situations and the full ear cup kills most of the external audio. if anyone has a pair of sony v900's i want!! they got discontinued last year and are amazing. The technics DJ1200 (black) & 1210 (silver) are comparable to the sony 700's and dont break as easily. they shouldnt cost you more than 200 bucks.

if you dont mind then eating your face the sienhieser hd280's are amazing, i dont have them but my buddie does and i have tried them, they are loud they are durable enough to wrap the cord fold them and throw them into a record bag and forget about them, and they are comfortable, they are just a bit too big for my small face and head :( they cost i think 250ish
