old arcade machines
yeah. post up if u got some for sale or got a connection to get some, but i'm not looking to spend like 500 bux. jus some cheapos.
i'm looking for x-men, the 4 player side srcolling one, or avengers, same style as xmen. those are my main 2. but i'm interessted in n e games. pm or leave a msg here. thx.

Grasshopper, have u looked into creating a MAME system? It's a computer installed into a old arcade box. You can run arcade games, snes, sega and other console systems on the computer.
I have the ENTIRE snes collection. Word! PM for more details.

It is way cheaper to make a MAME machine than to buy a upright cabinet in decent shape which will cost more than $500 too. I built a MAME box, bought a bunch of redball leaf joysticks, buttons and a IPAC controller and BINGO. Arcade heaven.

Search the internet for information. Lots of information out there. I'm guessing it'll set you back around $3000 to get a good setup with authentic 6 button joystick setups for 2 players.
If you just want to play console games (ie. snes, nes, neo, sega) you can buy a xbox and emulate them on it.

Cost me under $900 for all the parts (PC, VGA to TV converter, joysticks, buttons, keyboard emulator)... now I just have to build a cabinet or podium.
Anyone want to come over and help me finish Gauntlet?

There are a bunch of companies that sell viodeo games... but they cost a fortune.
I was looking for one when I bought my loft and the prices were way too much for ONE game. You can check out John Jukes on Main Street, ableauctions has video game auctions twice a year and there is a guy in the Buy and Sell that sells them too.
