Optical Fader 4 sale (Numark SM-1) * Damaged

I have bought a new optical fader for my Numark SM-1 because the metal peice that holds the knob on broke off where it is cut through the middle.

The fader works A1, theres no problem with the fader itself. It could be repaired but I need a real fader for The DJs Who Saved Christmas so instead of repairing it I decided to replace it.

Replacement cost is ~$100.00 CDN. I'll let this one go for $10.00 CDN as its damaged.

I'm sure an electronics guru out there could jerry rig the fader for any mixer.

Yes you can still fit a fader knob on the fader and use it fine. Obviously in this shape you couldnt scratch with it or do any hard action with the crossfader or the knob will fly off.

Yes if you have access to a spot welder you could fix this in about two seconds.

Yes the fader has the ability to curve-adjust. It is a knob however, not a switch because the SM-1 fader has variable curve.

As for making it work for another numark mixer I dont know, you'll have to try that out yourself - Its made specifically for the SM-1 so its not a "regular" numark fader.
