Those doggies get fricken HUGE when they are older. Great Danes are the Scooby Doo dogs right?
(sigh) If I didn't live in a condo building I would totally get a doggie... I mean, my building does allow pets but I think not having a yard to run around in isn't fair.

of course they get huge, they are probably one of the tallest breed of dogs.
I want one sooooooooo bad. But considering I don't have 800 bux coming out of my ass, and I allready have a doggy I'll just have to wait :(

i saw a greatdane that had the coat of a tiger once. such a nice dog.

A friend of mine's family used to breed great danes, they're extremely dumb dogs, are a handful to take care of, and usually die at a fairly young age compared to the average dog (mainly due to their size), did I mention that they are really dumb? You also have to watch out with any above average size pure bred dog as they usually have a lot of joint and hip problems due to inbreeding. Definately not an easy dog to handle.

I own a Great Dane myself... he's about 180lbs and can stand almost 6' on his hind legs. Quite the affectionate thing... drools like a mofo though! They do unfortunately live only about 10 years. Stupid... well he has his moments, but he's smarter than a Beagle. Those things are retarded. We have a small backyard and he's ok as long as they get regular exercise. Other than that you can't tell he's home as he'll lie down on his mat for about 5 hours at a time. lol And I thought I was lazy.

I'll give you that much. lol But he's not one to piss off... he almost took my Uncles arm off. Great Danes aren't out of reach of a persons neck... :kam: Might be why people cross the street about a block before I get to them when I'm walking him.

OMG I want one so bad. That is the one dog I always wanted.
To bad I live in such a small appartment. Sooo cute. I love big dogs. The mom is a good looking dog indeed.
