Been wanting to buy one for a while. Anyone have one they want to sell/know of any stores in Vancouver where I could purchase one? I'm assuming I would be able to find one somewhere on the Drive, but specific stores would be cool.

This strange bazaar just opened on lonsdale. I can't quite figure it out, but they seem to have a lot of hookahs in the window.

I think the Persian Tea House on Davie may sell them.....if they don't, they will at least be able to tell you the names of some stores. It's also a pretty cool place.....sitting down to some tea and hookah is quite relaxing! :173:

Once I was driving down Commercial in Van and we stopped at a light. I looked over and there were these 5 people in a Tempo or something with a Hookah blazin' in it! They were all puffin' away a mad hotbox on their way Downtown!

a rather pricey item... i say avoid the boutiques and head for the flea markets, pawn shops, and consignment stores. I was some nice ones on granville st. yesterday and on the drive a couple days ago. best of luck!

I've 2, and I've been trying to get rid of one for ages. It's a "starter" hookah, pretty simple, but does the trick nicely. Blue base, brass crown and ceramic bowl. I'd basically give it to you if you wanted it. I bought it at a place called "Jasmine Meats" or something like that on Main @ 27th (westside of the street) or thereabouts. Pretty cheap ones in there. Yellow sign.

City Cigar on 4th has pretty expensive ones, and I bought a multiple hosed one for 100 bucks. The guy in there will barter with you.

Getting quality Shish is hard, and usually best to buy out of the back of some Persian's trunk - but Jasmine's sister store (ask the cashier) sells some good stuff out of the back of their store. Whatever you do, don't buy that crap out of the silver pouches - tastes like chemicals.

Rose and Jasmine are the best flavours.

There is also a smoke shop on granville that sells some less expensive ones if you are still looking. West side of the street just up from caprice.
