timing belt - $35-$50(max)
water pump - rebuilt= not much
fluids all fushed and CLEANED?! - i wouldn't go near so called "cleaned" fluids. but if you mean changed. pfft thats like 50bux.


you CAN go wrong. such as.. if its an auto. you could have some problems. if its a 5spd. you'll most likely need a new clutch soon. theres most likely rust in places.

and for 10gs man. fuck!

i have a "new" cylinder head in my moms civic that came in a box. but it doesn't mean is "new". its rebuilt. it would cost the company that "made" your part waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaay more money to cast each part than it would to buy a used one. check it for stress cracks. clean it. and rebuild it (rebuilding means TOTALLY redone). which is awesome man.

having the box doesn't mean its new. they just get the core and rebuild it. which isn't bad i'm just saying.


and i'll give you my receipt for my $33 (something like that) timing belt from B&J parts if you want to know. and about 6hours of labor to change that stupid piece of shit.

how much did you pay for yours?

i do all the work on my cars at home so i know prices for the normal shit. and the big shit.

oh well then you lucked out. kuz if you get the dealer to install a new timing belt in your civic it'll run you close to 200bux. its fucking bullshit.

the part is like 30bux or so. and they charge you like 70 or something close to that at the dealer. than almost 130 bux or so for labour.
