The real Mario 2 (the original from Japan) looked and played alot more like the first one. The Mario 2 you all know that was released in North America is actually a game called "Doki Doki Panic", which was bought by nintendo and had it's graphics tweaked a bit to look more like mario. (ever notice how Mario 2 seemed like the bastard child of mario games?)




They replaced all the crazy middle eastern characters with mario & co.

why dont you just download an emulator and buncha roms..... i did that for a week and i played bascially everygame that ever came out on nes snes and genesis.

Funny thing about Mario 2 and its lack of mario-ness...

If you ever get a chance, check out Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the SNES. It's the sequel to the original SMW cartridge, and it brings back a bunch of the Mario 2 characters (like Shyguys) to the real Mario world.

I'm gonna get out my box and look through my cartidges, guy-who-wants-to-buy, but I think I got rid of them. Since I have every single NES, SNES, Genesis, and SMS game ever made (in every language) on my computer, I don't really care about them any more.

DUDE, SMS is where its fucking at man. but the reason why someone should dig out their old SMS... the 3d glasses, cuz you cant use those with roms on yer comp hell no. and my glasses are broken and their fuckin expensive on ebay... and just so that im not totally off topic. sorry no nes games here, i never has new as a child, only the far superior sms:)

u actually have a powerglove, i've been looking for one of those, i've searched ebay..but i didnt wanna pay that much, lol...once u find out what all u have, u should post it on here, cuz i'm interested in gettin some oldschool 8-bit games too...
