I know it is easy for me to say cause i dont have to pay to but lets analyze this here for a sec and see if the price is really that ridiculous. Lets take dooms night as an example or any otehr solid massive. Starting price $45. NYE starting price $60. a difference of $15. As most of you seem to know and understand, NY's prices are more exspensive. Venue, Dj's, the list goes on. Tickets are $70 now where as for any other party it would be $55 rite now. Is the $15 difference really not that reasonable? Just my 2 cents thats all. i know either way it is rough to pay so much

that's a good perspective.. but let's also look at the other situation.. there are more locals booked here than headliners. At Doom's night there were a few more headliners than this time. LOCALS are good, no doubt about it.. infact i prefer them more than headliners a lot of the time. But they get paid less than headliners. By adding 15 dollars to each ticket seems justified indvidually but if u look it as a whole... 15 dollars x 1000 tickets... thats' $15,000 solid corp makes, $15,000 that wasn't made at doom's night. Demand was high during Doom's night, and because this happened, it seems quite "JUSTIFIED" that ticket prices go up. It's justified in a economy world, where that's how money goes.. and if people are willing to buy tickets, then they did the right ticket prices.. If they lose customers on the way, it's ok because it will be made up with those extra costs to each individual ticket. So u have less headliners, more locals who get paid less, meaning solid makes more money off of you because it's "New Years" and nobody wants to work. I'm not sure that's clearly justified in my opinion because that's really just a bad reason as an excuse but if ur gonna go buy tickets, do it now and dont be stupid later.
