From what I understand you would need if you have a second hand fone from someone you would have to tell the previous owner to call into telus to inform them that you now have the phone. If not, i don't they'll switch your # to the second hand phone. I suggest you buy a BRAND new fone completely.

You would have to take over the contract and shit, then u can choose what monthly plan u want and what extras u want.. its just a plain but sleek phone...

i have 1 year left, and i just need a phone doesn't matter if theres a contract on new phone thats up to the original owner to pay off, im not asking for info on how to go about contracting a phone. im just asking if anyone has one they want to get rid of. if i were to buy a phone it'd be like 170$ im not interested on spending that kind of money cause i need a stupid screen for my telephone that costs the same amount no thanks rather buy second hand till contract is over.
