Whats your price range?

What will you be using the camera for? do u want to do professional style photos, huge Banners/Posters, just for caual use?

What other things did u hope to get out of your camera?

long as u have a 3.0mp+ camera it is good enough. just get a reliable brand like canon or sony. there r pretty good 1's onsale for boxin week.

the canon a75 or a85 as suggested is a kickass camera. it has allot of shootin modes & options & such but if u aren't gonna use 'em might think bout an easier/smaller/lighter camera.

eg

go check online & see which u like
then check reviews at the likes of http://reviews.cnet.com/4502-6501_7-0.html?tag=dir.new

good luck

sony sucks ass never get one. they use a 3rd party to make their lens's so it really isn't their camera or stuff making those picture results....... besides they use a fucked up card that only sony camera's use which makes it imposible to compete for price so they still are like 160 for a 512 mb equivilant card whiles't other's are 60$ for that same card............

A75 is a great camera if ur not looking to get tiny and compact *like i went with sd-200* or not looking for tones of zooom 3 is good, and with mulit functions and ez of use........
