do not go to vfs.
you learn nothing that will be of use in the industry. just get a job PAing (cause thats all you will be doing after vfs anyways) and work your way up. you will learn more and get much more respect then if you go to vfs. trust me. the only film school worth going to is usc. |

She's not promising work in any industry, she's just trying to give people a deal. Protools sessions at 50% off, how could you not like that? |

^^i find it really difficult to really get the feel of the school by taking part time classes. i go to an art school in vancouver and im doing a full 4 year BA program while i know others who are taking a 2 year cert program at my school. while they tell others "oh i go to emily carr"... i always cringe cuz they are getting probably just 1/5 of training that im getting. in conclusion i think these classes shes offereing at VFS is wonderful if you are lacking skills in a specific area (ex. computer programs etc) or want to get insight and just TOUCH BASE in the area.. im sure the full time VFS program is a lot more concentrated and informative in all areas whereas part time programs usually just skim the surface. but with this deal that bri is giving you guys..this is a steal! ive never even heard of a discount on learning..so take advantage of this!!

if you want to save your money, in this case, listen to phunk.
and what is the criteria to qualify for the discount...because that is a significant discount for such a great school [?]...it just seems a little too odd and a little too convenient. |
