Anyone know any local shops that sell Kicker solobarric L7's .. im looking into getting a single 10" and a kx1200.1 kicker amp to power it. I'd prefer a local shop so that i can finance it possibly? Or if you know someone selling one, or an online store that sells for cheap, plz give me the heads up. thanks

a&b sometimes has great deals/sales etc. I got my 12" Alpine sub already in the ported box with amp mounted on the side for $499 a couple years ago. Sometimes they have goodies laying around there. And/or not gst sales etc. Check em out, atleast for a look-see.

Kam, trust me, you want Alpine, I have 2 Type R 12's, with 1200 watts, 2 x 600 Clarion amps, trust me, you want alpine....the only way to go...

I like the punch of 10s better then 12s...and the square solobarrics L7s are supposedly pretty fucking dope from the reviews i've heard.

Dude, Alpine is all EQ, and no fancy bullshit....Type R's are good, 1000 peak each, that's 12's....I don't even wanna know what the 15's do....trust me, Alpine all the way.

haha.. type r's are shit for the money. I wasn't impressed with them at all.. I have 2 Type S' and after hearing 2 Type R's I knew i made the right decision goin with the Type S.


The kicker solobarics are very nice, but pricey. For the money I'd prob go with as nice of a JL u can afford or some nice Rockford Fosgates. Powering the Kicker is going to be your main problem as they are power hungry.
