LooKinG 4: BattLe Mixer, cartridge and battle recs... also recs 4 sale info...

Hey all, how's tings? I was wondering if anyone out there has or knows of someone that has a used battle mixer in good working order (x-fader doesn't need to be brand new, but in working order - i can just go purchase a new one if needed) that they are willing to part with? I don't have alot to spend at all but it never hurts to find out what is out there for options. I'm hoping to find something in the models: Vestax pro series, Rane tt series, Denon DNX Series or ecler 310 ( i know this is newer but you never know)...

Also if anyone has any battle records that they don't use anymore that they don't mind gewtting rid of for cheep and tht are in playable condition meaning no coffee stains or gouges or stuff like that. If the are a little staticy this is ok, as long as they still sound ok. ( it don't matter whether they are newer or old age wise. as a matter of fact i'm looking for old school ones from the 70s 80s and 90s. I esp. like the older beat loops and cuts. old school funk and djtools are most definately welcome...

on top of that, I'm looking to see if anyone has an extra Ortofon Concorde DJ cartridge laying around? I have a stylus. you see there is the little tiny nub that locks the cart. into the tonearm somehow got jammed in and I can get it out. at first I thought it broke but it was actually pushed in?????????? it was really wierd to come home from work to find he needle off and on the turntable just below where it should have been attached to the tonearm, I seriously never took them off nor took them to any shows, they were only ever removed when I had to clean them and it had been over a month since I had done that. well anyway if someone has a spare or an extra around please let me know...

Now remember pending on prices i'm not looking to purchase these immediately. I don't have that kind of money, this is why i'm looking for used ones. I really appreciate any info provided and thank you in advance for your time reading this.


just a heads up, I'll be posting a crap load of Trance, Hard House, some house and some breaks that i'm going to be parting with here in the near future all from the approximate range of 1997-2002. I'd say 280+ records in total. I havn't counted yet so I couldn't tell you how many for sure yet. as for prices they will go for $5-$10 each and more for the really hard to find ones, but i don't even think i will sell those for much more.

For those of you who have been wondering about my CD, once i find the cartridge i'll be able to get crackin on that. the CD desing and on disc print have been designed so it's not like I havn't wanted to. ~ I get nervous recording too~ lol
