Wanted:More info on POI

So I heard that there is a crew out at Trout Lake, but im hoping to first off buy some practice poi to get me started. I've talked to a few people that I've seen spinning, but they all seem to live on the Island or Okanagan.
Would anyone happen know where I can pick up some practice poi of my own here in Vancouver? Because im sick of being reffered to homeofpoi.com as helpful as it may be..

Come out to trout lake, find a dude by the name of Daxx there. He makes all sorts of firetoys and practice poi. He'd be glad to hook you up.

daxx is awesome, i met him at apex...there is actually a store in van that sells firepoi, and i think practice poi too, i cant remember the name of it though...search google, its on there...search for "poi in vancouver bc" or something along those lines

i live on the island and spin fire(poi and staff), i also make most of my own shit...i knowu said u hate being referred to it, but homeofpoi is prolly one of the best websites to learn shit..
