Lighting Technician Required for Village Stage, Shambhala
Hello, as is the topic of this thread the Village Stage at Shambhala is looking for qualified lighting technicians to join the production team for 2005, and hopefully beyond.
The reason for this post is because we are looking for individuals who will fit the team dynamic, and be willing to put forward as much effort and enthusiasm for creating the best show possible at Shambhala as the rest of the current team. The qualified applicant will have experience operating and producing live lighting shows. Knowledge of dmx protocol is essential. Knowledge of LightJockey, HES and vari-lite fixtures will be an asset. Familiarity with all basic lighting such as par cans, dimming and effects is required. However the most important qualification will be attitude and a willingness to be an effective part of a positive team working towards a common goal. Applicants are required to send a resume with cover letter outlining their experience, and qualifications to [email protected]. In your cover letter please indicate your prior experiences with the festival if any, and why you would like to become a part of the team. Applicants will then be selected and interviewed. The show is located near Salmo, British Columbia and will be August 11th – 15th this year. If you would like more information regarding this stage please contact me, or visit www.villagestage.com or www.shambhalamusicfestival.com. Thank you, Jeremy Bridge The Village Stage pK Event Services |

I noticed a bit of a down grade, in sound, in 2004 from 2003. In 2003 you guys had that CRAZY wall of bass bins near the entrance. I liked it. Will you bring it back for 2005, despite not having it in 2004?
