yeah i knew you can get needles for $100 bucks, but what i've seen, 100 dollar new needles are shite. That's why I wanted to get a high end pair, used. You say these shure are worth it though?

i went from ortofons to the m44-7's and even though there was a decrease in sound quality, on a home stereo it will be minimal

Just make sure your tables are calibrated properly for them. I've seen dudes who don't know how to calibrate a table properly pop this on at a party and in mid mix, have the thing dance across the record. -- On more than one occasion.

ebay has 520SK's 2 of em for 40 bucks, chek it out if ur interested.
