ok guys, i need some help gettin rid of my RX-7.. it's in very good condition.. color black.. year 1988.. fast as hell... last week it ran 247km/hr.. asking $4000 willing to "trade".. anyone interested.. e-mail chunke_420@hotmail.com

Oh, and what's the condition of the Apex Seals on the Engine? Those are usually the first thing to go.

shame on you for selling your rex, what has it done to you? jesus christ, you make me sick. i would never get rid of my 1988 rx7, but hey, can i have some parts?

Don't be a pussy, it was an 1988. I drove a GXL for a couple years, but now that I have access to RX7 FD3, screw the hatchi.
Get a real RX7, get the FD3. Buy it from me in Japan, I can sell it to you cheap!

There is a place in Seattle area that specializes in overhauling RX7 engines and converting them for other uses. They have an airplane powered by the RX7 engine, goes 200 mph.

My bro had an RX7 for quite a long time, no major engine problems but minor hassles with water pump. It burned out mufflers fast probably cuz he mostly used it for short trips.

The RX7 engine is so good that they banned it from the major drag races in the 80s.
