Rane TTM56

im gettin some friends to bring it over from platinum in seattle in 2 weeks... i`m gonna buy it for $699 american ..

im sure thats probably 1 of of the better deals out there...

but i know theres always deals out somewhere..

anyone know of any before i buy?

ALSO lookin for a new set of Technics RP- DJ1200 headphones... i broke mine.

you're getting a great deal. Those things are built like tanks and as long as you lube up the x-fader regularly, that fader should last forever. I think the 56's retail for like $1500 or something...

Fridays is done there. Actually, all weeklies are done at Richards and they're only doing shows now.

Venue got sold and withing a year or two there's going to be no more richards :(.

Actually, i had the 56 and the empath confused, but the 56 still retails for around $1300. Still a good deal...

I saw an article about someone who took a TM56 and installed the serato interface inside the mixer and added a USB port - all he had to do was plug his laptop directly into the mixer - chances are Rane will probably come out with an official 56/serato combo themselves

been a long time since I last posted speaking of TTM mixer there was a one day auction on eBay for used TTM 54i

I am not a scratch DJ so I didn't bid it just wouldn't fit my house/trance mixing preference, however $265 was not that much was it? I should've grabbed it and sold it for more...?

What's the difference between TTM 56?

biggest difference between the 54 and the 56 is that the 54 only has highs and lows for EQs - no mids. I couldn't really deal with that myself, but for a scratch dj that's more interested in cutting, that's an incredible deal.
