Customer Service Job Fair

Our company is holding their first Customer Service Recruitment Event on January 18th 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Anyone who has excellent Customer Service or Sales skills (also looking for spanish speaking associates) should sign up for this event! Pre-registration for this event is essential due to limited space. To register, please go to www.teligence.net and click on 'careers'.

All registrations will be reviewed in January and invites will be sent out by January 16th.

This is a really great, laid back company that is rapidly expanding which means lots of room for moving up. It pays well, you get full benefits after 1 year, has full gym in building w/free personal trainers, huge lunch room w/lounge, foos ball, etc.

People from this site have been hired previously!! Don't wait!

Do it. Like Andrew said its a really laid back place to work and they treat you very well here.

I just know of a few ppl who have left recently for other jobs and stuff and we're in need to CS reps.

You must be very flexibe cause it is a 24/7 call ctr.

It's CS for chat line services like Livelinks, Tango personals, Redhot Dateline etc... Just helping customers buy more talk time and giving young girls a hard time cause they're not old enough to talk on the service. It's easy.

OMG - haha - you totally found your perfect job.

Do they offer part time. I only want no more than 16 hours a week.

They're looking for ppl who are really flexible, cause it is a 24/7 call center you may get assigned graveyards, early mornings, you never know... however they do pay an extra $ per hour to work GY. And the minimum is 20hrs/wk.

Well, I already work full time. So they would have to work around that.

Like I said you have to be flexible... You may not get the job if you already have a fixed schedule.

Avana, I applied and they were dinks about flexibility... They wouldn't even help me out with night school so I told them where to put it. It's $12/hr anyways, $13/hr for graveyards (I put ONLY orginally but I thought that might offend... sorry?!?).

You'd think they would have some compassion to those trying to better themselves through education. Meh, they missed out on a sales star for that 'new department' she kept rambling on about.

Thanks for that Lauren, I didn't think I was going to apply anyway. You and I look for the same things in a job. There is no offending there.

And I agree, with people like us applying you would think that they would try and be flexible considering our past experience.

I am looking at homecare as my second position anyway. Something a little more laid back with less brain usage.

You've got a lot to learn about the real world my friend. I'm sorry the company could not work it's entire schedule around your night school.

And WTF is with this? When you're not working you don't make ANY money, so show a little respect.

wow... some people don't seem to understand the concept of scheduling in a 24/7 environment.

I applied there a while back, and apparantly I wasn't as well suited to the position as others that were interviewed were. :(

Whatever. To those that work there and enjoy it, great for you. I knew this isn't what Avana would look for in a job... so I mentioned it. These are my experiences, and opinions.

I've worked in a company that has a 24/7 environment but also a commitment to education, volunteer and community involvement. Maybe I'm just too picky but in the end I got what I want... job, school, and volunteer.

Now that I've said all this, as long as you're flexible Teligence is a great company to get into due to the growth they've illustrated.

I edited my post and apologized, I attempted respect but apparently I'm just a bitch. It the real world $12/$13/hr isn't a lot of money.

I was going to apply a while back but I hopefully am going to have an opportunity to advance within the company I currently work for (and have f/t, benefits, paid vacation, sick days etc) but if that doesn't work out, hm... possible. Possible.

24/7 scheduling is really good. It gives you a chance to figure out what you like & don't like - sometimes the hours you think you would HATE you end up loving!
