Yeah it's not for everyone, but anyone who does need to use a headset device (which in my opinion are essential if you own a device like a blackberry or a treo because it looks sillier if you're talking on one of those all the time) it is more convenient than the hassle of dealing with a wired headset. All of us aren't using cellphones to walk down the street and talk to our friends, some people are constantly on the go (ie driving) or talk on their cellphone when they work at say a computer frequently (and don't even get me started on how bad that whole neck lean thing is for your back and posture!). Basically its a matter of safety and convenience for people that own them.

Bluetooth technology itself is pretty cool anyways! I think so but I'm a big nerd when it comes to data and cellphones.

yeah i understand the driving n shit but I see people at restaurants or walking around with their friends (clearly not using the phone) with an earpiece in. Or teenagers who are clearly not that busy on their cell phone.
