WTB: Model train sets.

Hey, does anybody have any old model train set's collecting dust they would wanna sell? it doesn't even have to be a full set even if you have some of the box cars/freights/ engines left i'd be interested.

I actually might. I had a big set back when I lived with my parents that I built in the basment.
Though they asked if I wanted to keep it I said they could sell or give it away. But I dont know if they did.
Ill call and ask them. If you wanna pay to have it sent up here its yours.

Its full O scale. 8 full length train sets ( 20+ cars w/ 2 engines to ea.)
2 bays, controlling system, all set on plywood with full detail set up. Spent a year working on it or so. Dont know the size of the layout antymore, ill see if mom can measure.

haha that would be so dohp! haha Id love to see that. But its an O scale. That would be pretty hard to do. O scale is pretty small.... like micromachine size small! Maybe you would be better off with HO scale or something.

Do you know the size scales?

Looking for ones about this size, bigger is always good though. I have one box car and one engine.

I have a HUGE lionel(sp?) set with about 25 feet of track and tons of misc pieces and deco, mainly from the 50s... My Dad won it when he was a kid and I upgraded the set when I was a kid... Still works great... all boxed up right now... but its not for sale unless the price is right... Collectors item now

seriously? cuz this could spin as a "lets-make-fun-of-people-who-know-about-model-trains-inside-joke" so fast.

shop in New West off 6th Street, up from Columbia, couple blocks past the 3 Floors Hobby shop, on the left. 100% model trains :)
