He's right, it's the crazy zoom lens that makes this camera what it is (photograph far away objects and very close up objects with very high clarity).

Some pics taken with this camera (scaled down for web of course):

Shutter speed priority, aperture priority, manual focus, color accent, b&w, optical stabilizer... what else does it have do? Are you including just the one lens, is there a tripod? Honestly I'm into camera's a bit and this could be alright but... for that price range I'd be looking to get something 4 mega pixels +. I've been doing a promo for canon and I've seen some deals on new camera's that are not a lot more expensive and a lot better product.

Konica Minolta does make quality camera's from what I hear though. Apparently they were bought out by Sony and their technology was rolled into the Sony line.

FYI you would be hard pressed to develop a 4x6 print at high res.

p.s. I know it sucks but even shit like your memory card is only worth $20 max. They have them for that brand new at Future Shop right now. Kodak is basically complete garbage but all the same check out this, http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...gon=&langid=EN

or if you want a decent camera of similar quality to this but updated get this, http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...gon=&langid=EN
it's the best you'll get before going to the $800+ range and buying an SLR.

Also I've seen lots of in store specials on returned camera's (ie open box).

Not true. You can go to 8x10 fine. I haven't tried anything higher, since this was my Dad's camera.

There's one at future shop for $20, but that's after a $40 mail in rebate. The rest of them are $50 and up.

Taxes in and a new memory card, you're already looking at more than twice the price of what I'm selling (that, and Kodak is crap), so I'd say it's a fair asking price. In either case I'll dig up some specs for you. In the meantime, here's some more photos my Dad took with this camera. :)

This site has a pretty in-depth review, with all the specs you'd want.
