Anyone know where I can get some big slabs of carboard or big left over fridge/tv boxes?

Preffebly free and im willing to pick up.

If your timing is good then just swing by one of the new construction sites dt... I am sure they wouldnt care if you walked away with some of there fridge boxes. I know the new hudsons bay tower on dunsmuir and I think seymour was moving all there appliances into the new suites just a week ago. There are atleast a couple hundred suites in that building so there is a good chance there still doing it.

I always have spare cardboard laying around a the end of day but my office is in surrey. You may want to check out a big store like the brick or something near you.

Any audio/video shop. They are constantly getting rid of big screen boxes and the like.
That or supermarkets often have them.

Rhia - you can get them at costco. Just check their recycling bins strategically placed throughout the store.

ps - I know what this is for. do you still want that lamp?

The bigger the better, clean would be nice too cus im goign to be painting it. Avana knows dam well what its for... as for the lamp maybe, why not?

u can get a giant flat piece at opus in granville island for 7 bucks. already cut and flat too
