I purchased the Saffire for my Laptop, but think about me at work with - Laptop (not too bad) Laptop + little MIDI controller (tougher, gotta throw it under the desk real quick if needed) Laptop + Controller + Audio Interface = sketchy situation.

onboard DSP, couple more Outs, 192kHz processing. DSP is nice if you're running outta CPU power, or using a laptop.

too bad you didn't see this, but the LE still has the same Pre's...nice unit. How much did you pay?
