Found a Louis Vuitton Bag at Work :D
I'm a Sanitation Engineer for the City of Vancouver...Drive around in a Ford Truck with a rake and shovel cleaning up Bus-Stops....Anywho...
I am on Hastings and Gore and I scoop up a bag with my shovel and I notice the LV...I pick it up...woohoo... Louis Vuitton bag! There was nothing in the bag, so I presume some crackhead stole it from some young asian girl, took the stuff from the inside, and chucked the bag, not knowing it was worth 100x the contents of the bag. Don't know if its real or not, but I'm too lazy to take it to the LV on Alberni and Burrard, so I will post it in the classifieds for cheap in a few days. Was thinking of giving it to someone as a gift, but its got a little wear on it, so that won't work. Woohoo Work! PS: I also found 12$ in cash that night...hooray for liking my job :)

Am I the only person who thinks LV represents all that is gawdy, consumeristic, unsustainable and altogether indicative of the Paris-Hilton-o-itis that pervades modern society? Any human being who frolics around wearing Vuitton should go back to highschool to get that 'I'm better than you because of what I wear' attitude out of their system. I find women holding those bags decidedly unattractive.
"Oh, but its about the quality!" My ass. Its about your own selfishness. People are dying of hunger in front of our eyes and your bag rubs it in their face*. Burn it. *Not directed at the (un)lucky individual who found the bag unsuspectingly.

One of the keyholder's wallet was stolen and they tried to bust into my locker.... unsuccessfully They took everything in her wallet (excluding ID) and maxed out her credit card... and chucked her wallet on some street downtown. Some kind gentleman found her wallet and brought it back to our store (it had her club monaco id card in it so he knew where to find her) The same thief broke into the staff room of Bentley's the same day.. and tried to break into the backroom of the Robson CM only a few days afterwards. You're probably right about it being a theft.... I feel sorry for whomever had their bag stolen....
