It's almost snowboard season!!!

The last 2 years sucked for me even thought last year had great snow.

This year I plan to make up for it and I'm already booking weekends at my friends cabin at Whistler amd road trips to Big White and Sun Peaks are going to be glorious!

Now time to save up for my Cypress season pass. :)

i usually go like 3 or 4 times. :D i cant wait!!!!

the BEST THING to do..when your in whistler (specially towards the spring..when it doesn't get dark out fast) is go to the TOP of blackcomb for your last run, taking all the chairlifts up before they shut off..hike up to the HIGHEST point you possible can when you get off the last chairlift..and sit on the edge..with a drop infront of you..and a drop behind you...its amazing!! then when the mtn closes..you and your friends can ride down..it feels like you got the whole place to yourself cause everyone else was heading down when you were heading upp...i wanna be there RIGHTTT nowww

hoping to get back to breaking 10 days again. wish i was back to the 150 days a season when i was living in whistler. every day i hit last year was epic though. can't complain about that.

mc hammered: agree with the sig fully. i only ride option and only have for the last 8 years but if i were to switch i'd definitely go prior.

If you can still ride at the end of the day that means you didn't ride hard enough. :kam:

My first board was an Option and I loved it until I outgrew it.

Then I bought and sold 12 snowboards the following year and ended up liking a Nitro ATX and Aggression Steel capped snowboard.

If you know the snowboards then you can tell I like stiffer decks. In fact the one deck I really liked was the 169cm Nitro ATX but it was just too long for the trees.

So I took the boards to prior, told him what I liked and didn't like and he built me a custom boardercross board. I loved it so much I went back 2 weeks later and ordered a second one but 10% stiffer and with a custom 10 pack of inserts for power riding.

The last board I got from him is a custom 20cm wide 169cm 4WD freecarving board. All I can say is there are times it go so fast the I start to sweat in fear.

we'll have to hook up for some turns this year ... sounds like you ride the same style i do. ex-ski racer, been riding for 17 years now. there's not enough people who like to go damn fast in my books. i don't bother with the locals though ... i was raised on blackcomb so anything smaller just annoys me.
