How courteous are you while driving?

I'm really courteous while driving, cause people who arn't really piss me off... i know how much it sucks to be wanting to turn and having to wait like 5 minutes to turn because nobody will stop for a second to let you cut infront of them...

I fluxuate speeds randomly, keep my blinker light on for miles, and occassionally slow down to 25 on a single lane stretch and wave for the person behind me to just go around me.

I purposely hit someone from behind when they were racing up the right turn only lane and merging at the last second, right in front of me. I drive a 200$ beater '91 Colt. He was driving a (what it looked to be) '98 or '99 Mustang. His car did a 45 degree turn as I snagged his bumper. He got out of the car, I got out of my car, he got back in his car and kept going. Funny how he automatically realized he could not do a thing.

I am curteous, but if someone pisses me off or does some very stupid mistake on the road, I get angry quite easily.but if nothing happens, I am a pretty calm driver, I thank ppl with signs if they let me go first or stop so I can drive through a narrow road and I always stop if someone is about to cross the road ( which noone does in Milan.... pedestrians have to be very careful)

the line up to get from 20th to Marine Drive...kills me verymorning.. I've been knowen for flipping drivers off for cutting in line, thinking they can drive by 10 minutes of bumper to bumper traffic and squeeze in... oh man that grinds my gears...

and then there are the asshopls who turn right at left only stop lights... yeah, i make sure they get a piece of my mind too.

I've never swore so much my entire life than i have at the drivers here...

they're all assholes who bought their licenses

I am very courteous when I drive, but it's a balance of submissive and aggressive. IF you have to merge and people aren't letting you in, you have to take your vehicle on the line sometimes and most likely people will give in, it's easier if you're in an SUV. I find also that I always say thanks and go with the flow of traffic. If they are going faster than the speed, I match, slower, you match, tailgating is annoying and so is changing lanes without using your blinker.

For the most part, I will let one person merge in front of me, but not two, I hate when someone tries to sneek in when you're being nice... that's taking advantage. For the most part, people in Vancouver aren't that nice of drivers and tend to only care about where they are going and how fast they can get there and not being nice to rest of the people on the road. If everyone followed the rules, it woul dbe a much safer place to drive

Aside from getting loaded and speeding around town, i'm a pretty respectful driver.

It's the person who is stopped first that gets to go first, if there is more than one person that stops at the same time, then you yield to the person on your right

I'm extremely courteous when I want to be but most of the time I'm a very aggressive driver. I have no patients for people that get in my way, overly cautious drivers or people that generally don't know how to really handle the vehicle they are driving.

I speed, pass on the right, run yellows... pretty much anything that will get me to my destination faster.

My biggest problem is with the drivers that slow everyone down. They kind of know what they are doing, but they don't know how to do it quick enough.

I am courteous most times, wave etc. I was alot better though a few yrs ago, but after driving in richmond and vancouver for a couple of yrs alot of my patience went out the window.

Yeah know what you mean about that... they sorta know where they are going but it's like they don't know which way would take them there the fastest and in doing so they hold up traffic. I like that the states, or at lest WA has the rule where if you hold up 5 cars, you have to pull over and let them pass

my favourite are small town tourists.

-> put on left turn signal while driving 79 km/h on the highway
-> slow to a fucking crawl while approaching a left turn
-> go past it
-> turn right

I can be courteous when i want to but otherwise im on a mission cause too many vancouver drivers piss me off. IF you want to change lanes then earn it. It is not my responsiblity to break jsut to let ur noobie ass in. Of course in situations like lets say a red light and theres a car wanting to turn out from a parking lot, im not gonna be mean and stop in front of the entrance thus fucking him over, ill obviously stop before the entrance and not block it so people can come out.

There are just too many pet peeves though that drives me mad and here are just a few examples of MANY,

- People who turn out onto the road in a rush but as soon as they turn out they drive like 40. wdf

- Your driving from a distance and theres a car in the next lane going super slow. So slow that it would make everyone switch lanes to pass them. As ur aproaching this you see somebody finally fed up and they switch lanes in front of u. Thats fine but after they get into ur lane they drive just as fucking slow as the car in the next lane. Then why the fuck did u switch over? idiots

- so ur driving on the right lane and somebody signals and is gonna turn right. So they signal and instead of pulling to the right where there are no park cars they stay in the lane brake and turn thus making u brake all the way down to their turning speed for no fucking reason.

- people who turn but do not signal. Sure when nobody is around or there arnt really cars behind u and u wont be affecting anyone, then go ahead dont signal who cares. But when theres a car behind u and ur gonna turn left or right then fucking use ur signal.

- people who signal as the last possible second. Not because they suddenly remembered it was this street that they need to turn at but their just fucking idiots who dont know your supposed to signal ahead of time and not last second.
