i dunno if you guys even remeber those
theyre like 5 pounds as big as a brick
but they still have a very usefull bass booster

Yup... it takes the 1Gb Discs. One AA Battery lasts a hell of a lot longer than any iPod or other MP3 Player I know of.

Still using a JVC discman, XL-PG5. I've had it since 1999!! Amazing little device to have lasted this long.

I've kind of hummed and hawed over getting an portable MP3 player, but until they can support Sennheiser headphones the way this discman can, I'm not in any kind of hurry. I'm more a stickler on sound quality than fashion.

I have an iPod Video, but I really want to replace it. It was great when no one else had an iPod, but slowly, they got cheaper, and more and more people had them. I think I'll go back to regular mp3s.

who cares who has them?

personally i use it because they work great, and i like them. it has nothing to do with what everyone else has.. why should that matter? "OMGS MY ELECTRONICS ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOURS#!@%!"
