I watched one fight where ortiz (I think) kicked Shamrocks ass big time but holly fuck he put up a good fight! I'm cheering for Shamrock but only because I'm Irish

Yea its almost boring to watch. Ortiz dominates the whole match keeping Shamrock pinned against the ground. Not a whole lot of excitement. I've seen some pretty sweet UFC matches, but this one will probably be mediocre at best. I guess theres a lot of history surrounding Shamrock though? He's one of the founding forefathers of UFC or something?

He was one of the first fighters to really get reconized in the UFC. Then he left and went into the wwf for a couple years.

And for it being boring? I dont think so. Sure Ortiz holds him down to the ground but not without getting a bunch of crazy punches to the head in. Its just funny to see shamrock get dummied because he actually thinks he gonna win. Ortiz is in his prime right now, Shamrock was about 3-4 years ago.
Time for him to retire and become a trainer for good. I think this match is gonna help him come to the conclusion that he is not a fighter anymore.

If history repeats itself, Ortiz will teach the old man a lesson tonight! But it seems like Shamrock is one of those types that will never give up (which really shows when he's in the cage)
