resorts/accomodations in bc??
I'm looking for a nice place to spend the first weekend of December, preferably out of the city, maybe even on Vancouver Island... anywho does anyone know of any nice places that aren't too pricey? Must be double occupancy, close to a river, ocean or lake, and accessable by shuttle, ferry, taxi etc. Help? Any websites that could help me out?

the hotel prices in victoria dropped october 1.
You could stay at the Empress in a harbour view room with a King for 259.00. http://www.fairmont.com/FA/en/CDA/Ho...5%2C%2C00.html Or you could stay at my favorite: the Marriott Harbour side with rates between 129-339 pernight http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/YYJMC The delta spa and resort is also the Delta Spa and Resort with rates 149-259. http://www.deltahotels.com/hotels/hotels.php?hotelId=51 all these hotels are with in 5 min of government steet and the center of downtown victoria. Check out their packages to fine a rate that will give you the best value. Hope this helps! |

Been to tigh na mara twice before and I love it. Here's the package I am thinking about..sounds like it's worth every penny!! They also provide a shuttle bus to and from the ferry!
Seaside Romance While you enjoy a four-course dinner in the Cedar Dining Room, ‘Cupid’ will romanticize your room - surprise your loved one upon returning from dinner with Champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, homemade truffles, a jacuzzi tub garnished with rose petals, candles and salts from the Grotto Spa, a roaring fire and a rose petal turndown of your bed. Two Night packages from $327.00. |

I browsed through so many websites and stumbled upon that package, i called and got more information as well. Whistler is nice, but i hate the hustle and bustle..i just want to get away from everything and have a romantic time with my sweetie. You should totally check out Tigh Na Mara before booking ur honey moon in whistler Sam. You'll save a fortune and it'll be much more quiet and relaxing. |

My mum used to go to tigh na mara a few times a year as her best friend lived in Qualicum, if you can, try to get some of their spa services- I've heard nothing but good things. |

Thing about whistler is free acomadation and we have alot of memories there. It seemed appropriate aswell since we wont be travelling far with Georgia! I like the look of the place and am thinking its a good choice. Relaxing to an extent as we still will have georgia. |
