sloquet creek hotsprings
So i went camping this weekend with a bunch of friends to this place called sloquet creek hot springs. It was the nicest place ever i swear! it is kinda far away depending on the way you go. you can choose to take the easy way where you drive through pemberton and continue going to this logging road where you have to drive down for about 95 km which from vancouver takes ruffly 5-6 hours, or you can go the other way through harrison which only takes about 3 or 4 hours but it is kinda tricky. you would have to have a 4x4 and be prepared for one hell of a trip through pot holes, some crazy turns and steep hills.
Its quite the adventure up there, the camping area isnt very big, and the hike to get to the hot springs is kinda tricky but once your sitting in the water its truely heaven. its best at night to go down into the hot springs and bring some tea lights to put put around the pools, have some beer and look at the stars in the sky. well thats what we did anyways. i swear i had such an awesome time and sloquet is totallly natural so its not like some of the other springs that are man made.
Anyways out of all the hot springs that i have been to (which is quite a few) i have to give Sloquet 2 thums up !!! By far my favourite !!!!
