She is a family friend of a lady I work with..shes just devastated. I dont even know what to say. If its the husband..he will get whats coming to him.

Kenji is right though, sadly this country will focus more on protecting the accused than the victims.

That whole more than 24 missing this is a bit weird...

If my boyfriend ever went missing, it would take an hour, absolute 2 hours max, before I call the cops... many police stations won't let you report a missing person til the 24 hour mark though....

I don't believe that there is a guideline that the authorities have that tells you when you can list someone as a missing person..

I could see someone not phoning the police if they were having trouble with their spouse, and thought maybe they had run away, perhaps just temporarily.

I have a feeling the cops will get to the bottom of this.

they would let you it just wouldnt be official, but wouldnt you stiull try?
Even though they cant be officially reported they will take notice and when you follow up at 24 hours. Waiting 26-28 for your pregnant wife seems to strange.
that and he said she was in yoga in whalley and didnt show up
but she did go to yoga somewhere else though

thats sad. I actually know the husband.. he was a teacher @ my highschool a few yrs back.

He is NOTHING like what some ppl are thinking.

One of the nicest, calmest, kindest type of guys you will ever meet.

This would be VERY out of his character.

However, the worlds full of animals these days. Its too bad the husband will be the prime suspect to start.

... I hope it wasnt him.

I only just figured out what that refers to, today.

Doesn't this tragedy carry enough of its own weight that it doesn't need to be propped up by a media-blitzed incident of an admittedly similar nature?

That's the thing... because it's so close to home, people will follow this very closely... it's a terrible thing that's happened... a dead pregnant woman is a very distrubing thing to hear about... I didn't mean any disrespect to this poor woman, or her family in any way...
