maybe if we actually got some shots on net, we'd score on the PP lmao. constantly we take the big mighty slapshot and it misses the net by 3 feet and flies around the net and gets cleared back out. notice how goal scorers mostly score with wrists/snaps? meh, Im not against the slapshot, but fuckin keep it low and on the net and get a rebound.

what are we, 1 for 30 in the last few games? lol pretty well our only hope on the PP is the sedins being out there, any other line and we can't even get setup!

no kidding!! you can easily tell when its the sedins and naslund who are logging the puck. When its everyone else they are so sloppy bringing it over the blueline 3/4 of the time they lose the puck battle and get it dumped back into our zone

last nights game was so boring.

good job bieksa, surprised that pyatt actually had the hands to find top shelf. pp still sucks, sedins need to come up with a new system no more fucking slap pass or centering from behind the net, start taking shots.

next game plz.

^ I agree lastnights game preety boring.

and while were picking on the Canucks short comings. Why is Trevor Linden in our lineup still? he just dosent have it anymore, he hasent had it since 98' which was the last time he scored 20 goals or more. He gets to much of a free ride. Anyways i know its off topic but its true.

PS I know hes a legend in this town, but his ship has sailed

you don't think he knows that. I'm pretty sure he's planning on retiring after this season is done with. You want him to just flat our retire without finishing the season.

What about all the million dollar plus salary people with a goal?

let him finish his season and retire.

gotta agree there. they are unbelievable players no doubt, but they need to come up with something new. they are trying to get way too cute with setups, they need to just close in on the net and rifle some shots. so many times 1 of the sedins will recieve a pass in perfect shooting zone with nobody marking, and they pass it like 10 feet away to somebody who is getting checked?

still got mad respect tho, dno how many of you played ice hockey here , but cycling the puck like they do and keeping possession 9/10 times along the board is pretty damn hard. most of the best players in the world can't pull that kinda shit.

^yeah they are def. skilled puck handlers and i give them credit for it.

but they need to do something with the possession.

The complete game will come with time. They get better every year. They should be on a #2 line right now, just our #1 line is horrible and they ended up being #1 last year and it continues on this year. Imagine if they didnt' face the teams best defence every night... they would rip it up.

I do agree though that they need to be more selfish with the puck in shooting situations

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, yes...that goal he scored reminds me of the time Cloutier let in that 50 footer during game 3 in the past playoffs vs Detroit? hahahaha, it's good to get one of those goals in OUR favour for once! =)

Yep. He's no doubt got a lot to teach the youngins in practice, as well as filling a hole on the fourth line. I'd be surprised to see him crack the 20 point mark, but he's being paid fairly. Kesler, on the other hand, is making three times as much and producing the same. If anyone should retire now, it's him. GIVE US OUR FUCKING MONEY BACK, YOU PLUMBER!!!

bulis is so far been just as big a waste of money too.

between them we could have had a decent player for 3 million

^don't forget Bulis has to adjust his game more to offensive because in Montreal he was the dog on the bench or a defensive caddy. He is an offensive player who really has to work on getting his game back. Don't knock the Czech player just yet...he will come around..unlike Kesler who is more on a slump than any other player.

^where are you getting those figures from? are those last year's TOTAL statistics Kenji? If they are, you are being unfair in comparing his 15 or 16 game performance so far? He has NOT shown he is playing worse (yet). Maybe we shoudl stick him on defense instead? If anything, I am looking at Markus Naslund and am wondering when he is going to start putting up some numbers...if anything, he is underachieving comparing his performance of last year to now. Let the players work their chemistries out between them, and hope something will spur the goal scoring on this high-shots-on-net-with-little-goals-produced-team :)
