OJ Simpsons Book and TV Special.
Personally, I am a little upset about this. He wrote a book about the murders of his wife and her friend as he would have done it. He is doing a TV special about the same thing.
I believe that when you are aquitted (sp) from a murder you keep your mouth shut. Even 10 years later. You thank god for the fact no evidence put him behind bars (did it or not) and you leave it behind you. You dont pop up 10 years later and write a book and have your own TV show relaying how you would have murded them. I feel more bad for his wife and the other victims family. They have to sit back and relive the whole thing through the eyes of a man who they thought killed their daughter/son. Any thoughts? Note: These are my personal opinions based off the article I read breifly this morning in the 24. Last edited by Pussy*Kat; Nov 17, 06 at 02:58 PM. |

The one thing you gotta remember about the awesome American and Canadian legal system is that you can say flat out after you're acquitted "Yeah, I actually did <insert crime here> suckas", and nobody can do a damn thing. OJ could write a book about really killing his wife, but that wouldn't hold up as evidence in a court of law.
The whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing may not be perfect, but it's the best we've got. It's much better than having a monarch call for you head for no reason. I don't care that he's talking about it all right now myself. He never was charged with a crime, so as far as I'm concered, he's basically just written a graphic novel. |
