I'm on oink as well, but what the hell is so special about it?

Naw, it's not.
I just wanted to show that the oink system is flawed by definition. Why? Because it actually encourages you to download some torrents that you might not even like, and not to download some that you actually would like. And that's pretty damn stupid. Think about it, oink is *heavily* overseeded...and yet lots of users struggle to keep their ratios. That just doesn't make any sense. And no, I don't have a problem with my ratio. I guess 1.95 is pretty good, eh? But people with weak upload-speeds have a hard time on oink, even if they want to contribute. Every filesharing system that makes you download and upload certain things just because it's good for your ratio is flawed, so is oink. I'm not in favour of leechers, but you can handle that problem much better, see DC. The private hub system is a lot fairer, for everyone. And that's exactly why more files end up there...how many people on oink share 175GB? And, even worse, have you ever thought about the fact that those who do so and end up with 10.0 ratios, make it *impossible* for others to get to 1.0...why? Because the total ratio on every Bit Torrent tracker *is* 1.0...so some will always get banned, and one of the main reasons for that is because people enjoy having insanely high ratios, instead of taking their torrents off and let the n00bs seed, which would be the fair way to do it. So, in the very end, those who share lots and get mad ratios, actually *hurt* others...that's a fact and there's no denying. Also, the guys with huge upload capacities are always better off.
