csi miami is a terrible show BUT its bright and colorful, fashionable hip, musically current and simple to follow so it draws the attention of a larger crowd therefore making it a hit tv show.

the other shows I don't watch therefore have no comment.

I don't get the deal with all this crap TV.

Haven't been able to "get into" any of these Series really. Although for some reason I am not overly averse to Grey's Anatomy if for some reason I have to sit through an episode.

This will probably turn into a bit of a rant but I have never understood how people are addicted to the above mentioned shows. A few of them I have tried to watch to see what they were about and dear god I had to change the channel after only a few minutes. CSI Miami I knew would be a write off because even the regular CSI was really boring and all the episodes' stories were so similar and repetitive, and that one was far more realistic than Miami. I think you would need to smoke fat doobs beforehand just to sit through it! That could just be because I went through a huge American Justice/cold case files/ etc phase when I wanted to become a homicide detective though haha.

"Lost" and "Prison break" are another story..... Those shows are actually interesting without love quarrels and dramatics (for the most part) and keep you on your toes. I don't watch it religiously but if I miss too much I do find myself downloading the missed episodes... does that mean I'm addicted :(
